YOU DID IT!!!
18 years, give or take
And a future you have already begun to make
Make your mark on the world
Or make the world your market
But regardless of the life that you lead
Live so you leave Earth a little less darkened
You’ve changed and grown and learned so much
Let’s take a moment to breathe in the midst of the rush…
Oh, the choices and clutter will always run amok
But trust that your voice
Is more than enough
You’ll stumble, you’ll trip, you’ll fly in iridescent air
But no matter where you are
You’ll have yourself there
Live a life full of days that you choose
Live in a way that you know must be true
You’ll be okay and of this I am sure
Sure you will soar in any door you peruse

The servings here are huge
My son, whose hair may be
receding a bit, says

What he doesn’t know
is that when we’re walking
together, when we get
to the curb
I sometimes start to reach
for his hand
